T O P I C R E V I E WMikeI'll bet CDR. Carpenter is fast approaching the CS record for pictures in the sighting section! The talk and signing on Monday the 20th at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego was fascinating. CDR Carpenter is a most interesting speaker, humble, humorous and generous.Kudos to CS member Francis French, Education Programs Co-ordinator at the Fleet for a very well run event!Mikerocket ronI tried to get his book signed last night at Book Soup in Orange County. They sold out before I got there and the other book store in the mall was sold out as well.I believe more people showed up then were expected as he had only scheduled an hour for signing.I'm hoping for better luck tonight at his signing in Pasadena.DannoI was at Book Soup last night. Carpenters daughter did not show up. If you wanted her signature as well you may want to call and verify or else to Sat to the LA show.BTW - after all the new books were signed, he signed up to 3 items of memorobilia per person! What a guy!Danno
